Aquitaine

Yet undiscovered, Aquitaine is a land of armagnac and truffles, sunflowers and foie-gras, extensive uncrowded beaches, mountain villages, warm kind people and wine.

Exotically wild summers in Aquitaine

The mix of flourishing green pine forest of the ‘Landes’ region and 106 kilometres of sunny, naturally beautiful sea shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Makes this place perfect for surfing or just relaxing on the hot golden sands.

What to do in Aquitaine

Aquitaine is a home to Bordeaux wine and to world-famous wine areas such as Margaux, Medoc and Saint-Emilion. The wine and armagnac tasting is offered as well in the neighbouring towns and countryside vineyards. The perfect location of Aquitaine nears by water sources making it attractive for those seeking active holidays, such as water sports and cycling. There are lots of fabulous paths to walk or do a horse riding in Parc Naturel. Perfectly accessible tennis courts and golf courses offered as well!

The Aquitaine region of France

Areas in the region: Gironde, Lot-et-Garonne, Landes, Dordogne, Pyrenees-Atlantiques. Aquitaine is located in south-west side of France, between Dordogne the north side to Bordeaux on the Atlantic coast and down to the Basque country in the Pyrénées to the Spanish border.

A rich chaotic and restless history has left the region covered with top of hill towns and villages, bastides, ancient throttlehold of Charlemagne, Richard the Lion heart and the Black Prince.
